Mister Chinh at the market

Life often presents many surprises. The most remarkable ones are without a doubt those where destiny awakens a passion transforming our daily lives. Here is the story of Chinh Le, a sushi enthusiast.

An IT technician by trade, Chinh Le left Vietnam for Quebec to discover what Canada had to offer. In 2003, when sushi was still a novelty in the market, his friend invited him to his restaurant, a Sushi Shop franchise. Once introduced to the art of sushi, he was captivated. This discovery motivated Mr. Le to work as a maki-roller at Sushi Shop Marché 440 of Laval. Day after day, he focused all his efforts at preparing sushi with extraordinary care and diligence.

Mr. Le found his calling in the world of sushi. His innate ability of hospitality, stemming from his Vietnamese roots, made him a big success with his clientele. His passion for sushi was unequalled and this enabled him to gain the hearts and taste buds of his clients.

A new path was now paved for Mr. Le. In 2004, he became the manager at the Beaubien location of Sushi Shop and within the same year, he became a franchisee partner for the Fleury and de Maisonneuve locations.

It was in October 2009 that Chinh Le finally became the sole owner of his own Sushi Shop location at the Marche 440. His return to the Marche 440 location was welcomed with open arms by his former customers, who were accustomed to his special treatment. Today, Chinh Le aids in the discovery of the art of sushi by thousands who visit, taste and ultimately return to Sushi Shop Marché 440. There, he is simply called: Mr. Chinh.
